Born in Paris in 1952, I obtained my diploma in graphic arts after four years of studies at the famous Estienne Graduate School of Arts, in Paris. To pay for my education I created commissioned copies of master paintings.
From 1974, I began a career as a graphic designer for advertising, newspapers and editorial printing. From 1999,I began working as a freelance illustrator.
At the beginning of 2000, I decided to put all my acquired experience together to the service of creating art. I started by showing my work in different Paris art fairs. The prizes I won and the positive public reactions encouraged me to persevere on this path, though it is difficult but passionate.
My inspirations include the work of Chardin, Melendez and the Dutch masters who painted still lifes.
My method is to incorporate poetry, humour and the ancient method of painting in a manner of the highest quality.
